2 Years minus 10 months and counting!

So as many of you know, Taylor and I have been on a rocky road for quite some time... Got married, had a baby, had some struggles with old habits, went our seperate ways, got divorced, then we both grew up, realized we all needed each other and got back together as a family....

Two years ago tomorrow was the best day ever (before the best day the best baby came into this world to us) Sure we have been through ALOT! Maybe more then most people would in the first 2 years of marriage. But love can concur anything, and we are a living proof of that!

My Favorite saying is "we may not have it all together, but together we have it all!" It just has so much meaning to it and from our situation. Even though Taylor and I aren't officially married quite yet, we sure are keeping this date a special one. I'm so blessed to have a great man in my life... actually two great men in my life. We are our own family and hopefully going to have some more additions... Thanks for all the support you all have given us! Happy 2nd Anniversary BABE! MUAH!

Big decisions are in place!

So Lately our family has been living in the little apartment and paying rent... This opportunity has FINALLY come knocking at our door for us to be able to afford a house to own! Today it finally became a reality that the opportunity is here! We just got the packet to fill out to see if we fit the qualifications for the program! We got the blue prints of the house and also directions of what is to be expected. We are so thrilled for this to be here for us. Finally a chance to pay for a house and NOT rent :) Wish us luck!

Weekend of Spring!

This weekend was Jam-Packed of activities for our family! Saturday we went to the Kamas Rec and Pool Center, McGuire at first didn't know what to think about all the kids and the spashing. But when he found out that it was ok to scream and to spash all he wanted, he was all for that! By the time we had to leave, of course he didn't want to. Yesterday and this morning he reached for his floaties so we could go back to the pool. I think we're going to have to make it a weekly deal for McGuire.

Yesterday we had the Thacker Easter party with the traditional easter egg hunt. This was the first time in a long time we met as a family. It was so nice to see everyone and how big all the cousins have grown! McGuire's Cousin, Zak, helped McGuire out with the easter egg hunt. He did a great job. :)

Afterwards, we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Daggs to help pack. By the time we got done with our busy weekend it was time for bed. But I think we all realized how lucky we are to be so close to family and be able to see them as much as we do.

McGuire LOVES Bath time! If he could he'd spend his whole night there.

This is why we have bath times :) McGuire definitely has Italian in him! He will eat 2 plate fulls of anything Italian! Isn't this the cutest!

To protect and serve

This morning all McGuire wanted to do was protect and serve in our house, like a little cowboy sherriff! First thing we did: put the cowboy boots on (just fyi they are a size too small reason why he does not wear them) After struggling to put them on McGuire stomps around our apartment, and sneaking around corners like he is looking for some bad guys, giving dirty looks to anything he sees! Even and Taylor and me! Once he felt like there was something funny going on he got his ABC magnets on our fridge and threw them at whatever was "the bad guy." I feel pretty safe knowing he will throw magnets at the villians to save me :) I love my little cowboy sherriff!

Old McDonald had a farm!

Last night after going to Archivers in the University Mall with McGuire and Grandma Laura, we were trying to keep little McGuire awake so it wouldn't be hard to put him to sleep when we got home. His favorite song for the time being is Old McDonald had a farm, and we HAVE to say he had a duck (McGuire can say duck so he feels pretty big about it) while we were singing it he decided to sing E-I-E-I-O with us! Can I just say how stinking cute it was to hear his little soft singing voice. So throughout the whole time going home through the dark canyon we were singing it. McGuire got louder and louder and LOUDER about it. All I can say is American idol watch out, my little man is going to be in the spotlight!

Easter!

This Easter was a very special Easter, this was the first easter that we had together as a family! McGuire had his first Easter Egg Hunt over at the event center and oh man did he have a blast! After a little bit of hunting for all the suckers he could possibly get his hands on; he figured out that the ground was actually dirt and ran right for the dirt clots! He didn't really care for anything else.

Easter Sunday we did the typical look through the basket and see what special things the easter bunny left for us! Later that evening we dyed some easter eggs! Even though it snowed we managed to have a great easter! I will get pictures up here in the next little bit! Happy Easter Everyone!

The last week our family has had the case of the stupid cold bug. But this one is a NASTY one. Well I got so lucky to finally catch it. Taylor and McGuire decided to be so kind and clean the house for me. As Taylor was vacuuming, McGuire decides to pick up his toys while riding on the vacuum. Now that was just enough to make me feel so much better. I'm the luckiest girl to have such great men in my life. :) and also to have a clean house. lol
