Update Time

So Its update time!
Sorry its been so long! Life gts crazy working full time and having 2 kids (really it feels like 3 sometimes, sorry Tay)

Mcguire Turned 4 (back in Nov)! He was so excited to be 4! For a while he would tell everyone he was 17, but I finally convinced him that being 4 is pretty much the coolest age ever! So we had a little mini party for him the Sunday before with Grandparents and any Aunt or Uncles who could make it. He got way too many presents for a 4 year old. But he deserved it for all the great things he's achieved throughout the year of a 3 year old! It was a bitter sweet day for me ( I was still a little hormonal from having Mckinlee) I cried because my little 3 year is 4 and he is going up too quickly! I have those days quite often but that day was a HARD one. Now every time we're in the toy section of the store, he'll point out a toy and say, " I want thaaat, for my birday mom?!?" I reply "of course sweetie, that's in 11 months" He says, " Wow, thats soon!" I love it the optimism that he has towards fun things!

McKinlee is now almost 3 months old! Just on Saturday our little 12 week old ROLLED OVER! I couldn't believe it and I screetched in amazement as she was doing it. I obviously did too loud because as she flipped over she looked at me with a quivered lip. But after I realized I scared her, I congratulated her with hugs and kisses and she realized what she did was a good thing. We were so in awe with disbelief we had to try it again, and again... she did a total of 3 times! I can't believe how fast she's grown!

I make it certain that my kids will see Santa Claus at least one time a year. Last year I wasn't able to get a picture of McGuire with Santa Claus so this year we went to the University Mall in Orem and got pictures done with him. McGuire has his mood where he'd love to let you take his picture, and then he has his grouchy days where your lucky he is even looking at the camera.. Well this day was a grouchy day, he was thrilled to see Santa but not thrilled for the pictures. Luckily he just sat there for a few minutes and glared at the photographer. McKinlee was just googly eyed at all the noise around her. I thought it was a great Christmas card picture lol

Then Sears has this great promotion going on for pictures, and its been about 3 1/2 years since I have had them professionaly done, so I decided why not. I couldn't resist just going with the one promotion and I spent way more then I expected but hey, I needed them and they were so dang cute!

Thankful

Its Thanksgiving!! YAY one of my favorite holidays, I get to eat all the food I want and the Calorie counter has an unlimited amount for me to use :) Also it is a BIG reminder on how grateful and thankful I am for all the many blessings!

There are so many things to be grateful for I can't even start.
Every night when I lay in my bed, my patience is to its ultimate lowest, and I feel like my day was unproductive, I always pray and thank my Heavenly Father for the many blessings I have in my life. For all the simple things that I have that could be luxurious to others. It brings me to tears to think of all the things the lord has blessed me with that is irreplaceable. Here are a few (not in any specific order):

My hard working, loving Husband- he just knows me soo well its scary!
My two beautiful and perfect children- the hardest day of my life and they can always put joy back in it!

My family- who always is there for me when I need a helping hand
My mom- she's taught me so much more then I thought
My dad- he always has a way for everything to work out right
My house that has turned into a HOME
My religion- that I thoroughly know that its true and Families can be together forever!
My Job- To actually have one and love it too
My Friends- even if I haven't talked or seen them in years, they are always my angels in disguise

These are just the few things that I grateful and thankful for, I could go on and on! Anyways.... Just the last two months I have really be grateful for every little thing. Just holding my beautiful new born and having McGuire come up on my lap too and cuddling with me.. He whispers in my ear "Mom, we family right?!?" I mean come on, how could you not tear up at that?!?

My sister calls it "the weeps" after you have your baby. Where you just sit there holding your newborn child and just cry. You just think to yourself, "I'm so lucky to have you, your so beautiful and perfect! You look so peaceful, I can't believe the lord blessed me and trusts me to have you in our life. Thank you for coming into my life."  I'm so grateful to be a mother, to have the ability to have that kind of love in my life, and the physical ability also.

Anyways, I hope everyone has a wonderful thanksgiving and can remember to be thankful for all the many hidden blessings in our lives!

Tooth Doctor

McGuire went to his 1st ever dentist visit! He gets mad at me for saying that its called  a dentist.. its the tooth doctor.

He did really good, I was worried that he'd be a complete monster and that he'd have a mouthful of cavities.. WE don't really make brushing a huge priority in our family... its hard enough to get McGuire to let me comb his hair.

Dr. Ellis is the perfect dentist for McGuire, very high energy and kept McGuire entertained!!!
and we're Cavity FREE!!!

Scary time

McKinlee was born with a blocked tear duct, as was McGuire, so we were somewhat aware of the symptoms. But her's was more dominate then McGuire's. It looked like it was bruising and hurt. At McKinlee's 1st dr. visit I had him check it out and we got the typical "It should clear on its own"
I wasn't satisfied with it.

So I went to Dr. Abrams (who performed McGuire's eye sx) He said the exact same thing. But to keep an eye on it and if it gets puffy again to let him know ASAP! SO i felt a lot better about the situation. But it still didn't seem right, her tear duct seemed like it was bruising her face.. I really didn't want anything to happen to my baby! So I kept a close eye on it (no PUN intended)

Not even 5 days later McKinlee was really fussy and seemed irritated from something, It was here eye. It was overly goopy and runny. It literally was like she was crying out eye boogers.. Then it got poofy, it was like someone had hit her in the eye and it was bruising. She was never super needy and clingy. That day she was, I knew something was up. So I made another appointment... He wasn't there in the office that day (of course) so the next day was our only option. So I took some pictures of her eye so there was evidence I wasn't going crazy...

As you can see, it looks SUPER painful!

Finally after a LONG night, we got to the Dr. Abrams. He and Dr. Larson consulted with each other and decided she needed to go the Hospital to have antibiotics via IV for at least 48 hours. He stated that this was an infection in her and it could be fatal if not treted immediately.
So I called Taylor BAWLING! I mean she is only 3 weeks old and to have to go back to the Hospital and be poked even more then she already had when she was born.
After a long afternoon of talking to Dr. Larson about the steps we are going to follow we headed to the Heber Hospital.
After the nurses tried to get this needle in McKinlee's tiny veins 4 times, Taylor and I decided to go to Primary Children's, where they had the knowledge and correct machinary for Newborns.

I was so glad we decided to do that. We had 5 doctors always on the clock for us. They were so informative and went the extra mile for her.
The Doctors explained that it was an infection that had evolved in the blocked tear duct, and they were going to run some blood tests and multiple cultures to get the correct Antibiotics.

After hours of hooking her up with Vital wires, getting the Iv in (in one try) and receiving the blood for the CBC. The pediatrician came to us and explained that her White Blood Cells were way elevated for a Newborn and they need to do a spinal tap to see if the infection had spread. Reason being, she is so small and fragile that the infection could spread to her brain and cause permanent damage, not only to her eye, but her brain as well!
I thought SPINAL TAP! She can't handle that, she's only 8 lbs and barely a month old!
They were very comforting and explained everything. They let me hold her arms and watch.. It was the HARDEST thing to hear and watch. Poor taylor tried to keep himself from hurting the doctors from doing it. But he did a great job handling himself.

After 36 hours of IV fluids going in the Eye dr came in and explained that the cyst in the eye is was is making the infection and that it needed to be removed. We were hesitant on it due to anesthesia being on such a small person, but they reassured us everything was going to be ok and that this procdure was a very common one. If we didn't do the surgery the infection WOULD come back even STRONGER.

Here's her before Surgery!

Surgery it was. Poor little lady is one heck of a strong girl. The Surgery was only an hour long and everything was successful! No scars, no stitches. Just a perfectly healthy baby!

We were discharged the next morning! Her month birthday we were headed home from Primary children's, happy one month birthday baby girl. Let me tell you, that is the scariest event ever in my life. I don't know what I would do if something horrible were to happen to one of my kids. We are so blessed to have the medicine that we have today, and all the talented dr's.

Birth Story

So Mom's always love to share birth stories- and maybe no one reads them and skips to the pics but I enjoy them so here's mine :)

I woke Taylor up for him to get going to work at 6:00 am.. I wasn't feeling the greatest but that was normal for a 9 month prego like me. But I had a contraction! At first I was like no way, she's playing a trick on me again, just like last time... But it happened again 15 minutes later. I still ignored it and continued on with my morning routine.

I think McGuire knew she was coming cuz he was wide awake and helping himself get ready for the day. As we were headed to day care, I had a contraction and I did a choice of words.. McGuire overheard and yelled, " Mom, we don't say that! You need to say Holy cow instead!" I couldn't help but laugh.
After dropping him off I called Taylor letting him know that contractions were 15 minutes apart. Of course of all days he was in Park City working on the most important job of the season and he didn't drive, so no vehicle for him. So we decided to wait it out and try make it at least til noon. As I pulled into to work, Contraction of the century happened! I called Taylor once again letting him know that I can't do it. I got to go home and pack and get going to LDS Hospital. Before that I had to go into to work and tell them that I wasn't going to be working that day.

After a 30 minutes close watch and packing McGuire's to go pack, I monitored contractions to 5-7 minutes...
I called Taylor and he said I could meet him at the 1st exit in Park City.
I had never realized how stupid ppl were about their surroundings. I was driving with my hazards on trying not to cry and have a baby right then and there... Finally after only 10 minutes to the 1st exit (which seemed like an hour) Taylor was standing there waiting for me to pick him up...

We made it to the Hospital in 20 minutes, even with rush hour traffic! When we got to the hospital i was only dilated to a 4 but my contractions were so close I got to stay. I chose to not get my epidural until I was closer to giving birth or until I couldn't handle it. After 5 hours of being starving and contractions working their way up to being pretty hurtful, it was epidural time. By that time I was dilated to a 7, and Dr. Robinson had to break my water for me.

After things seemed to be slowed down, Taylor ran to the car to grab my purse and hospital bag. While he was gone, the nurse warned me that if I was nauseated, to let her know. That means my blood pressure is too low. Not a second later, I was nauseated. They checked baby's heart rate, it was to a scary low. So 5 nurses hovered over me to get baby's heart rate back to where it needs to be and my blood pressure back to normal. When Taylor made it back up, he was in a panic. I couldn't tell him what was going on cuz I was trying to breathe in Oxygen and not pass out. The Anesthesiologist had to come in and put "adrenaline" in my IV. The epidural had gotten into my blood stream and created my blood flow to slow down.
After getting me stable and Taylor's mom to calm Taylor down, Dr. Robinson checked me and gave me the ok to push!

After 3 sets of pushing, 20 minutes later McKinlee had made it into my arms! I only got to hold her for a second though. The Emergency nurses had to take her so she could be checked and make sure her vitals were ok after the epidural episode. Everything cleared! 7 lbs 10 oz, 19 inches long!

We are so blessed to have such a healthy little princess!! We couldn't imagine our lives without her!

We love you McKinlee JoAnna!!

Week 39

5 more days until my Due date! 5 MORE DAYS! Its seeming like forever! My doctors appointment isn't until Friday so its taking even longer!

Everything is good so far even though I cannot feel my fingers at all. You should watch me put make-up on in the morning!

No major contractions, just one every hour or so (which is a teaser to me)
Since I have never put a pic of my belly up here is one... Its a horrible pic cuz I am the one taking it and its my phone and really early in the morning when done.

Hopefully next time I write I'll have a lil infant in my arms!!!

Fall is here!

Over the weekend and in the attempt to go into labor we went for a mountain ride in Snake Creek to look at the pretty colors of fall!

I could not believe all the red this year! This is my FAVORITE time of year, things are warm yet cooler and Colors change and of course Halloween!

Since we were in such a happy mood going for a ride, I thought I would let my inner photographer out. I have been super super bad at getting pictures done on McGuire. So I thought I would do some of my own for now until baby comes then we'll do a little bit more professional.

REMINDER: These were only taken by me, I'm not a pro!! And this is a pic from a pic so its a little blurry..

Week 38

Dearest baby of mine:

Its been a long 38 weeks, you kick me, hiccup in me, make me have heart burn. You make me have cravings of combinations of foods that is just plain weird, popsicles and cottage cheese make your daddy want to vomit. I forgot what it feels like to have feeling in my fingers and toes. Touching my toes you have made impossible, and I really don't think my body will ever be as tiny as it used to be. My tummy right now is meauring a 45 1/2 inches round. YIKES! I have evidence that its too big, scretch marks are SCARY!

Dr last time said that you were going to be in my arms before yesterday. Yesterday came and gone and your still safely sleeping in my tummy. Measuring at 40 weeks and heart beating strong and fast. Dr says she'll see me next time with you still in my tummy. I'm only dialated to a 1 and you are not dropping. Is it fun in there?!?

I hope your enjoying the warmth, cuz its starting to get really cold outside now. Your brother can hardly wait for you to get here. I hope you enjoy the little jiggle rides he gives you by trying to wake you up, or shake you out. He enjoys feeling you kick him.

I thought mowing the lawn, going for long walks and eating spicy food would do the trick. But I guess its just too nice in there for you to want to be in the crazy world. I don't blame you to be honest. There are alot of eager people who want to meet you! Your nursery is all set up and good to go, I have all the nessecary things ready for you and in position to be used! So you can come anytime, we're waiting almost impatiently! We love you already so much and can't wait to see you and hold you!

Love your very plump mother and family!

Week 37 update

Well Well...
Made it to week 37!
McKinlee is measuring at 40 weeks!!!
I honestly was hoping the dr would say ok, go home grab you hospital stuff and lets get you started!!
But Of course that would have been too perfect! She stated that if I went into labor this week she would be ok with it. But if no action until next week, well let the inducing begin!

McKinlee is still not even close to wanting to be here, her head is down and everything, she just hasn't dropped a single inch! I guess I'm making it way to cozy in there for her! Doesn't she know there are people here that want to meet her! Her brother is wanting to see her and kiss her!

Anywho! I'm hoping the next time I write on this blog, I'll have picutres of the little one on here with the birthing story! Til then I'll be mowing the lawn, taking long hard walks and bike rides... any suggestions on how to get into labor, let me know! Hot food out of the question, tried it and nothing but heartburn!

Write to ya lata!

Week 36 update

36 weeks and counting!!!
Only 4 more weeks until she gets here!!

Dr. Robinson measured her and she measured at 38 instead of 36, so she'll be here in no time! She let me know that I am good to go at anytime, whenever Baby girl wants to leave her warm home. Inducing is still a possibilty, if she keeps growing at the rate she is. We are wanting to avoid a c-section at all costs!

Good ol' gestational diabetes is one to blame for the bigness of this babe! :) We can't wait to see her though!

McGuire helped us pick out her name!

Choices were Harper, McKinlee or Brinli

The winner is....

McKinlee JoAnna!!

McGuire will proudly say it too if you ask him :)
He's getting pretty excited for this baby to come out. still gives her kisses at night time and love to just feel for her to kick him :)

Til next time!

Complaints of a Prego!

35 weeks....

Dearest baby girl,

I love you so much already, I can't wait to hold you, love on you, cuddle with you! To able to smell the sweet newborn smell, have your tiny fingers wrapped around my finger. Its been 35 weeks and 3 days since you've been in there and I am trying to be patient with the time.

Your big brother can not wait to see you! He doesn't fully understand why you like to kick him when he gives his mommy loves. It makes him giggle though.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm tired of having my ankles into "Kankles". I want to wear my offical wedding ring again. My skinny clothes have been screaming at me to get into gear! To be able to walk without a woddle, or someone asking me "are you going to pop yet?!" One night sleep without having restless legs, or an arm that is completely numb would be fabulous! To be able to see my toes again would be wonderful!
I know its all worth it, but I just have to complain a little.

Your room is almost ready.... and so are you!!!

Eye Dr and baby update

August 14th, 2012
McGuire went to his very first eye appointment. Back when he was 9 months old he had an eye surgery for a blocked tear duct. That Dr said that in 2 years I need to go back to him because McGuire is going to need glasses.

Honestly in my opinion I thought it was way too soon to be able to diagnose that. But out of curiousity and me needing to go as well, we went to Dr. Ackerson.
McGuire was a little scared cuz the other doctors he's been too have either put a cast on him or put stitches in his head.
So I can only imagine what he was thinking the eye doctor was going to do!!

This is Mcguire waiting for his turn with the "super glasses"

He did such a great job! I was very proud of him.

Baby update!!!

We went to check her on Tuesday, and she is now measuring a week ahead. Head is still down, and she is still growing fast! Dr says she is going to be bigger then 8 lbs where McGuire was barely 7 lbs.

The scariest part of the visit was the dr mentioning being induced soon. She said that is an option I should be considering, to avoid a c-section...
So 2 weeks we get a check of dilation and cervix thickness.... hopefully I can make it til then!

Wish me luck!

UPDATE!

So If some of you knew... Probably like maybe one or two, we were trying to sell our Colbalt. It took a little while but we finally found someone who was able to make a willing effort to come up and test drive it, etc.

It got SOLD on Saturday. I was so excited, but at the same time really nervous. We really took a daring leap from having two cars to having only one again. With Taylor's work schedule, him leaving for UPS at 2:45 am and going from UPS straight to Arches until 6:00 pm, it was a risk with me not being able to drive to work...

So we decided to not make it a risk and went straight down to our faovrite dealership and car dealer! Ken Garff Nissan with Billy Brown. He really met our needs! We looked and saw what we needed! We were looking for a bigger, 4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicle with an affordable $ on it :)

He did it! That man is amazing! He found us a 2007 Jeep Liberty (one of my dream cars)
So we sold and bought a car within 12 hours of that day! CONGRATS to Taylor for making such a responsible and big purchase!

Taylor was so sweet, I thought I was going to take my Corolla and Drive it.. But since Baby Daggs is here soon and I drive just in town for the majority of the time, I get to drive it :)

Here's a pic!

YAY for Jeeps!!

Baby Update

Well we're to the bi-weekly visits now... Its getting closer, and coming faster then I realized!

8 weeks to go and everything is going fine! She's measuring to 34 (which is 2 cm bigger than supposed to) and her head is down. Dr. Says she's "growing Vigorously"

Heart Beat is great and she is as active as ever! I've gained a total of 32lbs so far... Gestational Diabetes is one to blame for that one and the water that I tend to store! Swelling is normal, just going on Wedding ring #3 so far... Scary time last week on the swelling with a ring on!

Baby's Nursery is coming around, just need to put my foot down and decide on colors!

McGuire loves to say hello to his baby sister! He just gets scared, he doesn't want her to kick him!
He asked Taylor and I the other day. "How'd she get in there?!" I giggled.. How confusing would it be, Mom was a normal size and now she's got a watermelon in her tummy that wiggles. Taylor quickly replied "Heavenly Father put her in there for us" Then he asked, "How she gonna get out?" We quickly changed the subject to his scooter and he lost interest in the belly/baby.

Names..... Well we are still on debate! Suggestions are always welcome!
Here are to main squeezes we like:
Harper Rose
McKinley
Brinlee
Clark
Carlile
Nora (I like it, Taylor HATES it)

Pics coming soon!!

Super Spidy!!!

McGuire has been really into superheroes lately!! Whenever we go to the store he HAS to get something, and its been all about spider man or some kind of good guy that gets the bad monsters/bad guys.

We found this amazing little cape and mask for only $6.00 at Walmart, you would have thought it was Christmas all over again. He was so ecstatic about it!

Here are some super cute pictures of my super spidy :)

The pose!

Flying to the rescue!

And again :)

After we each get our Vitamins for the day, he always lifts up his arm and grunts with the saying "My arms are getting so big!" or he says "This is to make me super strong huh mom, like daddy!"

I'm so glad that our house can be protected from the crazy monsters out in the world by my little Super Spidy! :)

Baby Update and McGuire Update

Well the baby appointment was on the 10th. She's measuring right where she should be! Everything seems well, just tightening and getting bigger. It was the time for the Rogam shot. :( If any of you have gotten it before, you know how horrible they are! I forgot how much it burned down your leg after you getting it. Taylor thought I was such a baby... But he couldn't watch me get it either lol.. Who's the baby now!

Gestational Diabetes is going... and going... but I only have to prick my fingers twice a day instead of 4! YAY for that improvement, BUT I still got somewhat lectured.. I snack WAY TO MUCH on the ice cream after dinner, hence why I can't keep it away from border line numbers... Time to start a hobby at night time to keep me off the junk food.

Speaking of hobby's. Nesting time is here!! We're getting little Princess Daggs' nursery ready... We can't paint the walls (rentals...) but I am determined to make it as cute as possible. So we are starting to find cute things to decorate the walls with and cheap girly ideas for bedding and decor! Pics on the way!

Mcguire is getting so big and cute! He is more aware of my special needs and LOVES to help with everything... Mowing the lawn, dishes, making dinner, and of course making more messes..

He loves SPIDERMAN. In fact, yesterday we were watching tv and he comes up from his room (his favorite place to be lately) and says, "Mom! Did you say you saw a monster? And it Hurt you?!? I'll take care of it (sound effects of webs going after the monster outside the house) He's gone Mom, he won't hurt you anymore!" He did this for about an hour.

Then later that day I was Momma Spiderman, Dad is Daddy Spiderman and McGuire is little Spiderman! I love his imagination!

He loves to argue with me on EVERYTHING. He tells me to be patient. Patient... Does he even know what that means?!? And if something goes his way, he says "Now that's what I'm talkin' bout!"
We love him so much, even if our buttons are being pushed! He loves his baby sister and can not wait for her to come out!

Here's some updated pics of Mcguire.. Sorry no fat pics of me! I can't stand how swollen  I am...

His silly face!!!

Him after day care last week.. This is the care ride home... only 5 minutes

Here's a better pic! Soo sleepy!!

Weekend Update

This weekend was one of my older nephew's, Cash, Baptism and my newest nephew's blessing. Unfortunately we couldn't make it to the baptism that was in Idaho. Work had me tied up. But Sunday McGuire and I were able to go to Rhett's blessing, Taylor caught the cold that Mcguire and I have been fighting. Instead of sharing the love he stayed home.

The blessing was beautiful! It was nice to be able to there and support the fam!

After the Sacrament meeting we went to the coolest park I have ever been to!
McGuire was in 7th heaven! we spend a good afternoon there, that I could bear at least (the heat was enough to cook and egg)

This thing was like 30 feet tall! You feel like king of the world when on top!

Spinny things!

McGuire hidden swing ( I think he was trying to sneak in shut eye without me knowing)

Cool little slide~!

McGuire's Priceless smiles :)

It was so nice to see everyone there and to be able to hang out as a family!
Congrats Fam on all the cool accomplishments!
Love ya!

Car Wash Date

Well Summer is finally here! Friday night Taylor and a bussy went motorcyling riding up cascade. So it was just McGuire and me... so I decided to have him help me wash my car.. It keeps us busy and out of the house.. and it was a good way to cool down from a busy day!

He had more fun with the bubbles!

Cheese!

He's a teaser and likes to get bubbles on mom!

On Saturday we went to Derek's (Taylor's brother) reception in Sandy, we had to eat out afterwards as a reward for McGuire. In and Out Burger was our choice! So Good!!

Cheese with the coolest hat ever on!!

Great Grandpa Daggs

Derek Daggs got married in the SLC temple last week, which means family come into town! We were so excited to see old family and friends, having a time of our lives!

One we were really excited about, Great Grandpa Daggs. He recently moved to Tennessee after he wife had passed a few years ago. We got to spend last night with him, went out to dinner and had a good talk with him. McGuire hadn't ever met his Great Grandpa, so he was really excited!!!

They were at our house before we got there from work and daycare, I had to remind McGuire that he is a very old guy and needs to be respectful and quiet around him. Not gonna lie, I was really scared that he was going to be the excited terror that he usually is when he meets someone new.

He was an Angel!!!! I think he knew that Great Grandpa Daggs is a someone very special and to enjoy every moment with him.
This is McGuire sneaking up to him, figuring him out

Grandpa Daggs and McGuire were playing Angry birds on Grandma Laura's phone.
Mcguire was inseperable from Great G-pa Daggs that night from then on out!

We were so excited to have him come by and visit! We wish he didn't live so far away!

Til next time!

Its friday time for a laugh!

I was at lunch with my wonderful hubby and got a text from my sister...

I couldn't stop laughing!!!

Happy Friday everyone!

Baby Update: Week 24

16 more weeks until this little wiggle wart is coming!!!

We went to the Doc Monday for my monthly check up... she's doing great, heart beating stronger than ever and wiggling tons too! She's an active little girl, which is perfect for an active family!

I had to take a Glucose test... the lord is testing me and my will power I guess, I didn't pass...
Time to go to the Hospital and take an even longer test and with out eating also.. Not too thrilled about this. Doc said there is nothing I could have done to avoid this... These things happen and she had a hunch it was going to happen since I have had too much sugar in my urine and blood that last 3 times I've been there.

So Tuesday doing another Glucose test to see if I am Gestational Diabetic. That news was such a bummer to me. Oral meds would probably be the result of controling it and a fixed diet. If  I have Gestational Diabetes I will not know how to handle my cravings at all... No more Ice Cream, cotton candy, yummy fatty foods, well you get the idea...

My honest feelings about this whole diabetic thing is that I am failing as a mother and caretaker of the child I am caring...  I have slacked horribly on the good eating, good exercise idea. I'm going to get my butt into gear... but I still can't avoid this matter.

Taylor has been such a great support system for me thru this whole thing, he'll bend over backwards for me and make sure that I am comfortable and cravings are met (to an extent) and McGuire has been such a champ for being patient with me.

Results soon... cross your fingers, I sure am!

Just like Daddy

Ever since we've moved, gotten comfortable and McGuire realized that there really is a baby in mommy's tummy.. He's been daddy's little man, almost attached to the hip.

He would rather be with daddy now then with me... Sad for me good for Taylor! They build things together, do yard work together, watch motorcross and monsterjam together... This morning as we were heading to day care, he saw his daddy heading to work and he said quietly to himself.. "I wish I could go to work with daddy."

My heart melted, I'm so happy that they are finally getting to that relationship! :)

One night as I was making dinner, I see this figure in the corner of my eye. McGuire wanted to be just like dad and wanted to put his work boots on... He says to me, "Look mom! I'm just like dad! I'm going to work, see you ta-morrow!"

Just another crazy day with the Daggs' family
