Injury Free McGuire!!

Tuesday and Yesterday we went to two doctors for McGuire, Tuesday we got Stitches out. Thank heaven they were healed properly and all was well with that part.

Yesterday we went up to Primary Children's to get his arm check on... I had a slight fear that we would have to get a new cast or something... I was going to be so angry, the pool has been call ing his name for weeks now, and he was getting super frustrated with it.

When we got there the Dr. told me that we would have to get a small cast on him today. NOOO!!!!! Was screaming in my head... but as I looked at the radiograph, this patient had a fractured wrist. McGuire never fractured his wrist.... So I made the Dr. double check the name.. Luckily enough it was the little boy that was called before us.

McGuire's xrays were healing as planned!!!! We got the cast cut off and no new cast or splint was needed! McGuire was so thrilled that his new arm was all better!

He favors it a little still, and it still is bowed a little but that will straighten throughout his growing times. We were so lucky that he didn;t hit any growth plates or anything!

Our Mcguire is now injury free! Seven Peaks look out cuz we're coming your way!!!!

Ultrasound pics

I guess I could post some of the ultrasound pics.... I think they are adorable, these ones are a little bit easier to tell then the others.

This is her profile.... so cute! And that is her forearm coming up to her face.

This is her looking at us, I know freaky but she's adorable!!! See the two eyes, the big white thing is her nose bone.

Again, she was really wiggly so these are the best we got! YAY for baby girl Daggs!!

Boy or Girl?!?

Yesterday was the day that we were able to find out what our little baby is!!
Mcguire the entire time, in full confidence, said its a girl.

During the ultra sound I told the Dr. we're going to have a very disappointed 3 year old if this baby is not a girl....

McGuire's confidence was great cuz ...

I cried like a baby when they told me! I am so excited to have both boy and girl in the family! Now for names....
Looking for last names and first names...

She has 10 toes and 10 fingers, heart is good and so is the kidneys and bone structure! She might come out as a ninja, she was soing some pretty crazy wiggles in there. The poor doctor couldn't get everything right off the bat cuz she was wiggling way to much... Like mother like daughter I guess!

Clumsiness is in the genetics

If you know me pretty well, you well know that I am Pretty clumsy in my everyday life. I can't go a meal with out spilling something, I drop, possibly break things all the time. I run into walls, statues, desks, bed frames, benches; you name it...

Well unfortunately McGuire has inherited that from me.. Poor guy!
Saturday night, after a great day outside and family fun of NO accidents or ouchies. We were trying to calm down by watching a movie in our new place. Lately McGuire thinks that it is so cool to go upside down on the couch and then flip back to where he started and he's done it thousands of times before.... I did it as a kid, so i didn't think anything of it...

While I was turned around for 2 Seconds (LITERALLY) he over-corrected himself or got way too much push to get back on his feet and BAM! Right into the corner of the coffee table his poor little head went..

Guess where we ended up going, 5-minute clinic again....
4 stitches later we were back in business!

McGuire was such a sport, yet again! He asked the doctor what all the stuff was and then while the stitches were given he only flinched for a minute, every once in a while he would say "Doctor your HURTING ME!!!" but that was it, no tears, just squeezing my hand and talking to daddy during the whole thing.

Lesson learned for mommy.... don't under estimate the possibilities of getting hurt.. and move the coffee table from the couch!

One Broken arm and 4 stitches on the head in less then a month... This summer is starting out so well don't you think?!?

84049 to 84032

My Mothers Day gift to my mom and my gift from my mom to me was to be able to move into our own place this weekend! No more noise from the Daggs Family in her house, for now.... I guess the real gift is the quiet she now gets.

It was the most stressful 2 days of my life... I cannot believe how much junk we had and still have...

Mcguire LOVES the new house (that is what he calls it too, the new house) We have a big backyard with dirt, and a big drive way so he is in ultimate heaven! Its the FIRST time we've ever lived in Heber on our own... its weird to be in 84032 Zip code.... :(

I felt really bad for Taylor, poor guy didn't get a break this weekend, he works at least 15 hours days during the week, so weekends he really looks forward to relaxing. We have a lot of heavy things and I couldn't help as much as I would like to with the lifting... the baby really knew where to kick me if I had done too much. So Taylor basically did all the crazy lifting without that much help..

The worst is over, now the unpacking! I LOVE to upack things and put them right where I want to put them! I feel like its the First time I actually get to welcome myself to my home.

Of course I have some decorating to do, and a garden to get planting! Pictures to come!
 Until next time...

Guess I could do a Prego update!

Well I haven't been the best at updating my pregnancy! Shame on me!

For the first 19 weeks its been up and down hill..

First Trimester:
Sickness, nausea MAJOR!
Sleep deprived, moodiness (Taylor says)
Growing pains
Got to see baby through mini ultrasound gadget
Cravings Galour! (Any fast food and pickles)
Eating for an army, times two!
Losing weight (3 pounds total)

Second Trimester (so far):
Nausea gone Finally!
Still have Major cravings (subway, sugar, bananas and watermelons)
Finally getting some sleep!
Happier, and more energetic
Feeling movements

Now that I am 19 weeks along, the time has come to figure out if its a little motorcycle dude, or a pretty princess!!! May 22nd is the day we get to see our little one for the 2nd time, but this time its not just a little wiggle of a heart beat... Taylor would really like a boy, I would LOVE Girl. Any gender is great, I will love the baby all the same!

McGuire is adjusting well to having a mommy with rescricted capabilities... He asks me frequently (every 10-15 minutes) if I'm ok and that he loves me... Even when its nigh-night time, he'll shout the questions loud enough that I can hear him through the walls. He has to say good Morning, and good night to the baby and he LOVES giving the baby loves...

Picture will be coming soon... Sorry kind of a boring one to look at I know...
Til next time!!

Reality strikes!

I guess you don't realize how precious life really is until something horrible happens! An unfortunate event happened over the weekend, and it really bothered me to the point where I couldn't sleep.

The draper accident has really shaken up alot of people in the county. My sister Megan is really good friends with some of the family members, and sadly to say one of them was in the accident. Quincy Draper was the 2 year old that passed away on Monday. Megan was very close to her and her parents, and I have known them for the last couple of years, so this loss has really hit home base for a few of us!

After hearing about the horrible accident, My emotions definitely got the best of me for the last few days. I couldn't think of anything else other then the help that Little Quincy needed from us in our prayers.  She was put on life support and was sent back to our heavenly father, there was too much brain damage. My heart goes out to the Draper families for all the losses and trauma that has occurred!

Heavenly Father really does have a plan for all of us, whether it seem fair to us or not. I know that she is up there helping her little brother, who is to be here in about 5 months, giving him the ins and outs of their mom and dad. Grandma and Grandpa are up there too teaching and loving everyone! Families can be together forever, and this family will be together again.

My prayers go out to Cassidy who is still in the Hospital recovering from the accident and surgery, and also to the Finlayson family.

This was a major reminder to me and I'm sure to many that driving can be very scary,  very unpredictable, and life is something you shouldn't take advantage of.
Live every moment like it was your last and Love like there is no tomorrow. Enjoy the little things of everyone.

YAY for babies!!

Marianne, my lovely sister, had her beautiful baby boy yesterday!!! After a weekend of flase labor signs, scary heart rate drops and sleepless nights, he finally decided to come!!!

He's the cutest thing! He looks just like Big brother Brad! He's the smallest of the three I believe 8 pounds and 20 inches long!

Way to go Mari!!!
Love you!
