Modeling Career

McGuire has made a new habit, he loves to put on Mommy's high heels and model them off....
Evidence...

Isn't it the cutest ever! McGuire is growing so fast its not even funny! We read books together, sing the alphabet together and write our letters.
He loves to color and loves to scream!
Pudding is the ultimate treat and throwing things in the neighbors driveway puddle is a good pass time.

love you monkey man! Way to be the ultimate toddler and being my pride and joy of life.

3rd Anniversary

On April 24th it will be Taylor and my 3rd Anniversary! Its really crazy to see how much we have gone through in the last 3 years! Here's a time line, Got married, Had a baby, Got divorced, got back together, went back and forth to different houses... and now here we are with a 2 year old little boy in a little comfy little apartment happy as ever! Unfortunately Our anni is on Easter, so no renewal of a marriage license... but a paper doesn't have to prove that were married right?!? We've got pictures to prove we're married ;) I love you Taylor so much!

We may not have it all together, but together we have it all!!!

Love you always and forever!

Happy Easter!

All I need to knowI learned from the Easter Bunny!
  •  Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
  •  Everyone needs a friend who is all ears.
  • There's no such thing as too much candy.
  • All work and no play can make you a basket case.
  • A cute tail attracts a lot of attention.
  • Everyone is entitled to a bad hare day.
  • Let happy thoughts multiply like rabbits.
  • Some body parts should be floppy.
  • Keep your paws off of other people's jelly beans.
  • Good things come in small, sugar coated packages.
  • The grass is always greener in someone else's basket.
  •  To show your true colors, you have to come out of the shell.
  •  The best things in life are still sweet and gooey.
  •  May the joy of the season fill your heart.
Hope you all have a HAPPY EASTER

Dear So and So...

I haven't done this in a long time, and I now have a bit to vent about :)

Dear toddler who bites other toddlers,

I love babies all different sizes... but I am not happy with this habit that has been created. The one day you how up for me to watch at work is the one day I am alone with 30 kids. When I keep my eye on you, you are fine. But the once i get one child who needs attention, you bite a child on the cheek. I love you to bits and pieces, but PLEASE stop doing the biting. It hurts... ALOT!

Sincerely,

Friendly and Tired Day care lady

Dear Potty,

I wish you would be more appealing to McGuire. Instead you tempt him ti play in the water and flush all the time! It is just not fair that you are more fun to play with then to do business with! Please, Please let McGuire do his business in you.

Sincerely,

Potty training mommy

Winter Blues

If any of you know how I acted in the winter, its definitely highs and lows. I love it when it snows, but when the snows stops I want it to be warm! Mother nature is loving the mood swings from me I guess cuz she keeps playing mind games with me.

I just thought that I would share some good news and hopefully it won't jinx it! Taylor got a call from UPS which means that he has a job interview and will hopefully be working with them as a package person in the mornings. If this really does happen, we will most likely be moving up to Utah County. That way I can go to beauty school and not have to commute either.  Lehi or American Fork will be the wonderful place we will settle, if there are any places you know of, let me know, cuz I am looking! So keep those fingers crossed and keep saying your prayers, cuz I will be!

Also more good knews!!!! McGuire has finally let go of the stinking BINKI!!!! YAY he's finally a big boy, next step is potty training. If any of you have any great suggestions on how to train a little one to pee safely into a toilet please let me know. So far we're pretending to pee in the potty, but when its the real deal he chickens out. Its ok I guess, just so frustrating lol.

ALSO!

Here are more pictures from the past holidays I had to get from my mother in law.. so enjoy!

Aspen, our puppy (3 years old)
He helped me with me birthday candles, it tradition!

Update

Here's an update from when I last left off. Still going to go to school, eventually. Just got to find the correct school to go to. And CORRECTION: I am going to beauty school, then when I am financially stable with that job, I will go to College and get my teaching degree. That is the plan right now so far.

Update on McGuire:

He is now 26 Months old now! Can you believe it?! He is the ultimate chatter box, loves to say thank you when he's not asked to do so. He rides his big wheel with his "helmet" which is a trick or treat bucket with frankenstein.  He loves playing with his truck and drawing and singing the ABC's. Its probably one of the cutest things he's done.

Thats what is going on in our little house, not too thrilling, just being CRAZY together :)

Something to think about...

As my days are going by and by lately I have been thinking about going back to school. Taylor and I have been talking about it since another child at the moment is not the right time (I wish). I really really love my job at Midway Elementary! I love being able to help a child feel better about learning and making them better at the tough things they struggle in about school.

I love getting the hugs and the high fives for achievements that they have made. So I thought... Maybe I should go back to school to get my teaching degree. I wish it were that easy. First I have to get my generals done (BORE) and then I got to do some more classes, then I get to do my internship or student teaching. Then I thought again, I can;t really pay for all that right now and I can't really give up the time to be a full time student with a child.

So I came up with a great solution. I'm really excited to say it too! I'm going to go to Beauty School. I have two sisters who have done it and love their jobs, and I think I would love it too. I'm in the process of applying right now. But I'm not just going to do hair, I'm going to do nails, facial waxing, manicures, pedicures and make up.

I have a great feeling about this decision and I got the support of my whole family for it. What do you think?

I've been slacking!

Wow its been a little while since I have blogged. I guess I should tell you what's been going on in our household. During christmas break we just hung out at home, nothing too thrilling. But we put up our Christmas tree and McGuire absolutely LOVED it! He calls it a treet, and instead of leaving it alone like a good little boy McGuire has to throw all of his toys at it. Every morning we had to turn on the lights and weren't aloud to touch it after, it was HIS treet.

After Christmas I had to take it down because it was getting scary, he would throw his pillow pets and big books at it and the tree would almost fall on him. He loved that tree and lights so much when he found out I put it down he came up to me a yelled at me so loud I think my neighbors could hear, then I got a slap on my face. He was so mad at me the rest of the night.

Christmas day was so exciting for McGuire, Santa found our house after all them moving we had just done. We were so excited! McGuire had no idea that there were gifts under our tree, he just wanted his lights on. When we pointed out that there were some surprises there for him he was so thrilled! We let him open up the biggest one first (big mistake) it was a potty! He wanted to go potty they rest of the morning and open his presents that way. Lol my mom got a picture of us with him on it. He wouldn't get up from it. But all in all he had a great Christmas!

Last night we had to go to the hospital. McGuire had been getting sicker throughout the days of the weekend that I was thinking he had pneumonia (however you spell it) He was not going to sleep at all last night and I took his temp around 2:00 am, it was a whopping 103.1 and not getting lower! I don't know about you but that is truly scary for me. So I told Taylor we were headed to the hospital and that he should stay and sleep. (One of us had to go to work in the morning) Comes to find out that he is just really congested in his lungs, and his fever was going down. I'm glad he's sort of better, but we're home today just relaxing watching Dora the Explorer all day... Yay :s We'll be up and running tomorrow, hopefully!

Hope everyone had a great Holiday time with their families!

Stayed tuned for more adventures with the Daggs, something exciting might just happen.
